As I move around, working in different institutions and independently, I have decided the easiest thing to do is to pull together information about my work in one place. I am a freelance historian, sometimes working for Leicester Vaughan College, a higher education co-operative I helped establish, but primarily working for private clients. My historical interests are wide, and I can help with any British history after c.1700, with experience and skills in corporate, civic, central governent and personal records of all kinds, the full range of printed matter, oral histories, and material culture. I get great pleasure from weaving narratives and sharing material. Do please feel free to contact me malcolmjnoble [at] yahoo [dot] co [dot] uk, or if you prefer call +44(0)7791380273. On 12th September 2023 I am arranging an online workshop on co-operative education with my colleagues Cilla Ross and Esther Gicheru, which will lead to a special number of Journal of Co-operative Studies . We intend to open the Zoom room at 2.30pm UK time for a formal start at 3pm, finishing at 9pm; this has been arranged to suit the different time zones as best as possible, but it may shift slightly as we finalize the programme. If you would like to join please complete the form at http://bit.ly/CoopEdRegister . You will get the zoom link automatically in response and more information including papers to read closer to the time. The original call is here https://www.ukscs.coop/pages/co-operative-education and you can learn more about the JCS there too.
